Cortney is an economist with a Bachelor's degree from George Washington University and a Master's of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.  She served 10 years as an active duty Marine, and has worked in the oil and gas industry, the utility industry, before landing in education as a volunteer on the Golden View Classical Academy Board of Directors, where she served as both the Secretary and the Treasurer.  During her time as Treasurer, GVCA purchased their building and completed a $3.5 million construction project as part of the acquisition.  Cortney currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Golden View Academy.

Tim has served on the Board of Directors for The Classical Academy since May 2019 . Tim has lived in Colorado since graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University in 2000.  Tim and his wife, Erin, have two children.  Tim and Erin’s daughter Taylor will be entering second grade at Central, and their son Logan will start kindergarten in the Fall of 2020.  Tim is a contracted Broker with Coldwell Banker, and he owns Hannan Realty.  He is also a fly fishing guide contractor with the Broadmoor and owner of Hannan Fly Fishing.

Todd and his wife have lived in Colorado Springs for 22 years, and they are the proud parents of two graduates of The Classical Academy (TCA).  During the 15 years that he had children at TCA, Todd volunteered in a variety of different roles.  Professionally, Todd is a Finance Director at a large international ministry based in Colorado Springs.  He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.  In his free time, Todd loves serving at his local church and spending time with family and friends.

Jeff recently retired following a 30-year career in the insurance industry where he successfully led teams of professionals in the property and casualty arena.  During his career, he had opportunities to develop training curriculum for insurance professionals as well as facilitate classroom learning. Jeff’s passion for learning has carried over into his retirement as he has taken up substitute teaching at The Classical Academy, where both of his children graduated; Kyle in 2018, and Katie in 2020.  Both are now completing their studies at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys camping with his wife, Melissa, mountain biking, golf and fly-fishing.

Rob served two terms on the Board of Directors of The Classical Academy in Colorado Springs from 2015 to 2021; as Treasurer (2 yrs) and Chairman (4 yrs).  He is a graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies (2018), and an Entrepreneur who runs a Data Integration Services company he started in 2006.  Rob enjoys road cycling, golf, working on his Factory Five Roadster, and spending quality time with his family.
